Online course set up

How course will be done in online mode?

Online platform for conducting course
  • The course content will be hosted on an online E-Learning platform. 
  • Course platform will host all reading material, quizzes, allow students to submit subjective assignment and ask any question/doubts.  
  • Students will be graded based on the quizzes and subjective assignments.
Lectures
  • Each chapter will have detailed recorded webinars to teach concepts in detail. 
  •  There will be weekly live Question-Answer session communication tool- GoToWebinar. Timings will be mostly Saturday morning 10-11:30 am IST.
Duration and structure
  • The course is around 60 hours or 8 days when compared to an in-person classroom training.
  • To make it effective, online course will be divided over 8 weeks (2 months). 
  • There will be recorded sessions for facilitating self paced course and will not force participants to join each session on specific date and time. These are going to be detailed and real sessions happened with previous batch.
  • 8 weeks plan provides better engagement, and scope for participants to grasp concepts in better way. This provides enough time to complete assignments. 
  • Course would expect 5-6 hours on weekly basis from participants to go through sessions and completing assignments.
  • There will be reading material for each session available on platform. Participants would be able to read the material anytime and any number of times. 
Subjective Assignments
  • There will be assignments for most of the sessions. 
  • Each Chapter will have recorded webinars, reading material followed by assignments
  • Participant need to submit assignment solution within LMS only. 
  • Each assignment will be graded manually by tutor
  • Participant is required to score a minimum of 60% average score across course to complete the course successfully.
  • There will be timeline/deadline to finish each subjective assignment
Quizzes
  • Apart from subjective assignments, there will be quizzes, that is, objective assignments.
  • There will be practice test for preparing FHIR R4 proficiency exam.

    Question-Answer live sessions will be on each Saturday 10 am to 11:30 am IST.

  • 2. How long will the online platform be accessible? Is it only during training period or after that also?

    You will be able to access the online course platform for another 2 months from the end date of the course.

  • 3. Will the reading material downloadable?

    PDF reading material would be downloadable. Reading material is quite good, written thoroughly and in easy language. This is important as you should have content to revise FHIR concepts anytime in future.

  • 7. Does course cover HL7 International FHIR Proficiency Exam certificate cost?

    NO. You have to register directly at HL7.org for taking FHIR R4 Proficiency exam. Course does prepare you covers all the concepts required to learn for FHIR certificate exam.

  • 8. Will there be any certificate provided to participants?

    Yes, you will be awarded “FHIR Advance Certification Training Program” course completion certificate from Curizent Pvt Ltd (OPC).

  • 9. Will there be any coding/programming assignments in course?

    No. FHIR is platform independent and can be implemented with any technology stack. It is up to the implementer to chose their own programming languages to implement FHIR.
